Hi everyone! I love Peachy Keen Stamps and am so excited that they have added another challenge to their blog! In addition to their Tuesday challenge, they have added a "Let's Face it Friday" challenge where you are required to make use of your Peachy Keen face stamps. For the first challenge, the task was to create a Halloween treat container. I chose this Dracula card feature cut from the Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge. The face was stamped with Make a Monster Face Assortment stamp set by Peachy Keen. The box was created from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Spring Planting Layout
Hi everyone! Today I created this layout of my daughter and I planting our flowers in the Spring of 2008. I am not much of a gardener, but I have always like planting flowers. However, they usually don't survive all summer because I am notorious for forgetting to water the poor things. I made this project with this week's challenge at Fantabulous Cricut in mind. The task this week was to create a project with a gardening theme. The Cricut cartridge I used on my layout was Freshly Picked. Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Throwback Thursday - "Old School" Challenge
Hi everyone! Emma's challenge this week at My Creative Time is to create a card without using a die-cutting machine. I had to dig through my closet for this paper piecing book from 2001 that I was absolutely CRAZY about when it first came out!
Since I got my first Cricut in 2006, I don't think I have even looked in it. It's crazy how far we have come! Cutting out a similar design with the Cricut then piecing it together would take a matter of minutes, whereas this image took me over 1/2 an hour.

I even brought out the eyelets for this one - I used to use them on everything and still have a whole case full, maybe it is time for a comeback!
I had a lot of fun with this challenge - thank you Emma!
My Pink Stamper Bird Challenge
Hi everyone! Today Robyn at My Pink Stamper is having some challenges and giveaways to celebrate having 5,000,000 hits to her blog! That is AMAZING to me, especially since I just reached 5,000! For her first challenge of the day, she wanted us to create something with a bird on it. I chose this cute little baby bird cut from 3 Birds on Parade. The background patterned papers are from DCWV, the border punch is by Martha Stewart, the sentiment stamp is by Studio G. Hope you like it!

Hi everyone! I created a Christmas card tonight with one of my Pink Cat Studio digital stamps. Isn't she fabulous? I am entering this card in three challenges:

It was made using the card function on the cartridge. The challenge at Cricut Cardz this week was to create a Halloween card using the card function. This is my entry! I glammed my spider up a bit using some purple, black and orange stickles as well as a white pen on her legs. Hope you like it!

Jenae's Birthday Invitations!
Hi everyone! On the weekend, Jenae and I worked on her birthday party invitations! Jenae did a lot of the work herself and I think they turned out great! We used the Hannah Montana cartridge (there was no question about which one we would use:-)) We cut the horses out with the Cricut then she ran them through the Cuttlebug to emboss them. Then she rubbed an ink pad over them to give them some colour. I put the wings through the Xyron then she added glitter. We also did that with "Party". Didn't they come out fantastic?!? With all the fun time we had crafting this weekend, now guess what is on the top of her birthday wish list? A cricut - a little black one to be specific. Guess she saw that one in Walmart. I've created a monster!
Pumpkins Halloween Card
Hi everyone! Well, here I am with yet another Halloween card for you and I have a feeling it won't be my last this year! I created this one for the challenge over at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog My task was to create a project using the following sketch and colour scheme:
For this card I cut the pumpkins with my Cricut using the Mini Monsters cartridge. The face stamp is by Peachy Keen from the Make a Monster Face Assortment set. I ran the card through my xyron then added the center portion followed by the blue glitter. I am so addicted to this technique - my craft room is a glittery mess! The Happy Halloween is from an Inkadinkadoo stamp set which I embossed with Neon Amber Zing powder. Hope you like it!

French Manor Contest
Hi everyone! Last month there was a contest for Cricut Circle members to create a project using our exclusive French Manor cartridge. I didn't win so I can now post my entry to share with you. I used my gypsy to weld two armoire cuts together to form a card. I cut out another armoire and used my x-acto knife to make the doors open to show the dress form which I had used an I-Rock to decorate. Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Kitty Crayon Box
Hi everyone! This week at Fantabulous Cricut they have a fantastic blog hop going on - you should check it out! Lots of fun and tons of fabulous prizes! For their challenge this week, we had to create a school-themed project which included buttons somewhere. I decided to make a crayon box for my daughter as a surprise - I think she will love it! For the box I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and Hello Kitty Greetings for the cheerleader Hello Kitty. I was complaining on the Circle messageboard the other day about how awful I am at using glitter and one of the nice ladies on there suggested that I try running my cuts through the xyron first for a nice even glittery effect. WOW!! I still got glitter everywhere in my work area, but only where I wanted it on my project. I LOVE this technique! Thank you for stopping by - hope you like my crayon box!

My Pink Stamper Sept 11 Challenge
Hi everyone! On Sept. 11, Robyn from My Pink Stamper issued a challenge to create a project for a soldier or other service person. I decided to make a card for my daughter's teacher because teacher's offer one of the most important services to us! They are just amazing! For my card I used my new 3 Birds on Parade cartridge which I used my Cricut rewards points for so it cost me nothing but the shipping! Isn't that exciting?!? Well, I think so:-) I also used one of the Cindy Loo companion cuttlebug embossing folders for the background. The "Super Tweet" sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's "Punnylicious" stamp set. I also used my I-Rock for the flower centers. Hope you like it!

Fairy Cupcake Card
Hi everyone! Here is a card I created especially for the challenge at Flutter by Wednesday's this week. It is Danni's birthday week so the task was to create a birthday card featuring a fairy, angel or butterfly and using this sketch:
For this card I stamped the Tilda image and coloured her with my copic markers. The cupcake was cut from the Home Decor cartridge. I ran the icing part through my xyron then put the glitter on - it works wonderfully! I used the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the CTMH stamp set Nursery Bash.
Hope you like it!

This weekend there was a layout contest on the Cricut Circle messageboard where we had to do a layout of this weekend's activities. I knew I would be doing a layout of playground photos so I cut out the characters ahead of time. The cartridges I used are Sesame Street Friends, Sesame Street Font, Sugar & Spice and Locker Talk. The patterned paper is from the DCWV paper stack called Nana"s Kids. Thanks for looking!

Spooky Pumpkin Card
Hi everyone! Tonight I have for you a Halloween card I made specifically for Momo's challenge. This week at Made by Momo, her challenge is to use black and white with one other color. I have been in a Halloween kind of groove and haven't put much use to my new Halloween cartridges. For this card I used October 31st. It is one of the seasonal cartridges which doesn't have a lot of images on it but, the ones that are there are awesome!
Hope you like it!
