Because I'm the Princess - Jenae

Hi everyone! Here is a birthday card that my daughter Jenae (7) created for one of her friends and decided to enter it in some children's challenges. Don't you love the scenery she created with her stamps and markers? And lovin' the torn edges (although I'm not sure if that was planned or if she could just not find her scissors? :-))

The challenges are:

Simon Says Stamp - anything goes children's challenge

Messy's Mini Missions - fairytale

Hope you like it and if you do, please leave a comment - she'll love reading them!

Jenae's Birthday Invitations!

Hi everyone! On the weekend, Jenae and I worked on her birthday party invitations! Jenae did a lot of the work herself and I think they turned out great! We used the Hannah Montana cartridge (there was no question about which one we would use:-)) We cut the horses out with the Cricut then she ran them through the Cuttlebug to emboss them. Then she rubbed an ink pad over them to give them some colour. I put the wings through the Xyron then she added glitter. We also did that with "Party". Didn't they come out fantastic?!? With all the fun time we had crafting this weekend, now guess what is on the top of her birthday wish list? A cricut - a little black one to be specific. Guess she saw that one in Walmart. I've created a monster!

Jenae's Back to School layout

Hello! The challenge this week at Children's Challenge Corner was to create a project with a back to school theme. Jenae chose to do a 6X6 layout for her scrapbook with a photo of her in her favorite back to school outfit from last year. She got to use her Mommy's cricut again, with help of course:-) She did choose all the colours and glue the pieces together. The cartridge used was Hello Kitty. Hope you like it!

Jenae's Mermaid Card

Hi everyone! Here is a card my daughter Jenae created for some challenges over at Kona Kid Krafter's and Little Hands Do Crafts . The theme this week at both was "Anything Goes" so she went through my stamp stash and chose this Lily at the Beach stamp by Pink Cat Studio. She coloured it with her new markers that her Auntie Melanie gave her since Jenae is always wishing she could use my copics. Hope you like it! If you have the time, please leave Jenae a comment - she loves to read them!

Mommy and Me scrapbook day

My daughter and I spent some time together today doing some crafting. I finally got my Create a Critter cartridge and Jenae was so excited to use it! This is the card she made. She wanted the dog to look like our little Yorkie Parker. It turned out so cute! She is six years old and has been so eager to get into scrapbooking with me! She's already got her own little stash of supplies.
