#152 Flower Shoppe - Centerpiece

Hi everyone! The monthly challenge for April on the Cricut Circle Blog was to create a centerpiece using Cricut cuts. I decided to follow a floral theme and made a flower arrangement for my Princess House crystal arrangement vase.
For the large flower in the center, I used the Giant Flowers cartridge. I cut the flower pieces at 2.5". I cut the petals from cream card stock, spritzed them with Tattered Rose Glimmer Must, and inked the edges with
chalk ink.
I cut some rolled flowers from the Flower Shoppe cartridge and Art Philosophy at 5.5".
I cut the small flowers on the inside of the vase from Art Philosophy at 3.75".
All of the rolled flowers were spritzed with gold perfect pearls mist or pink glitz spritz.
For the paper filler, I just cut coordinating paper in strips and crumpled it up.
The patterned paper I used was from the Flights of Fancy paper line by Prima.
Hope you like it!

Cricut Cruise 2012

Hi everyone!  As some of you know, I won the Cricut Cruise from the Cricut 5th Anniversary contest.  The cruise was from April 1 - 8, so I got home three weeks ago.    I know I am quite behind in posting about the event, I just can't seem to catch up!  I have done very little crafting since I returned!
I took my sister Leila with me on the cruise and that turned out to be the perfect selection because we had a blast together!
Here are some photos I took on the cruise.

The surprise left for us on our last night on the ship.  We each received the Cricut stuffie and a letter saying PC would be shipping us a new Mini machine!

We love Okie!

Danita is so much fun!

And this is what I came home to in Alberta Canada :-(

Can't wait until next year!  Yep, I had such a great time that I am saving up so I can go again!  We were treated wonderfully and made some great new friends that I NEED to see again :-)
