Joy's Birthday Blog Hop - #41 Elmo's Party

Hi everyone! Welcome to Joy's Birthday Blog Hop! We are here to help Joy from Joy's Life. Com celebrate her birthday! If you have arrived here from Tammy's blog, OBX Stamping and Scrapping, then you are at the right stop! If you have just happened upon my blog, then you should definitely head over to Joy's Life to start from the beginning.
For my project I decided to use the Elmo's Party cartridge to create some party decor for my son. Every project I made can be found on this cartridge.

This banner was cut at 5".

Pop - up invitation and envelope cut at 5 1/2".

Party Hat cut at 5 1/2".

Favor Box cut at 7 1/2".

Hope you like my projects! Maybe you have a little Elmo fan in your household and you can use these ideas for child's own Elmo's World Party!

Now on to the blog candy! Joy has generously offered up one of her stamp sets for me to give away to one of you!

Joy's Father & Son stamp set is up for grabs! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post, and I would love it if you would follow my blog too!

AND check out Joy's new blinkie! Go ahead and grab it for your blog!

Well, that's all for this stop! There is still a ton of fun to be had! Head over to Lori's blog at Scrappin' My Stress Away to see what great project she has to show you! I'm sure it is wonderful!

Hey Cupcake!

Hi everyone! I was crazy busy last week and could not get an entry finished for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge at My Creative Time. Since she was busy too, she extended the challenge another week! The challenge was to create a project that was food related using the From My Kitchen cartridge. I have this cartridge and have not really fallen in love with it - even though I thought I must have it when I bought it. Well, I just LOVE this cupcake from it so it has hope! I used a variety of scrap papers from my stash. The cherry was glittered with cinnabar MS glitter. I used cotton candy and stardust Stickles on the frosting. The green glitter marker around the edges is by Martha Stewart. The font for "Hey Cupcake" is from Elmo's Party (more to come from this cartridge - my Jacob's 1st birthday is next week!)

Hope you like it!
