Sea You Soon!

Hi everyone! This card was made for the Tacky Tuesday group challenge on Facebook. The theme this time was Sea Creatures and we had to use the word "Sea" in our sentiment.

I chose these fish from the Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge. The wave was made with the wavy cutter by Creative Memories. All paper used is from my scraps stash.

#54 Life's A Beach - Lighthouses Layout

Hi everyone! This is a layout I whipped up this afternoon. In June 2006 my family went to Newfoundland where my sister was getting married. It was our first time travelling out there so we had to do a little sight-seeing as well. What a beautiful place! One of the popular tourist attractions of Newfoundland are the lighthouses along the coast - this layout shows some of the ones we visited.

The Cricut Cartridge Chaos challenge this week was to use the Life's a Beach cartridge.

I cut the lighthouse at 11", the letters at 1 1/4" and the ship wheels at 1 1/2".

One of a Kind Flamingo Card

Hi everyone! Tonight I created a flamingo card using the Life's a Beach cartridge. The patterned paper I used was by K & Company from their "Berry Sweet" line. The "One of a Kind" sentiment is from CTMH's "Be Yourself" stamp set. The bling is from my new I-Rock collection. The challenges I had in mind when creating this card were:

Fantabulous Cricut - tropical theme

Bitten by the Bug 2 - use a flamingo cut from any cartridge in any colour but pink.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #20

For this challenge I had to create a card with a summer or beach theme using the cricut. What better cartridge to use for this project than "Life's a Beach"? Hope you like my entry. I am having so much fun doing these challenges!
