#18 Sweet Treats - OXO Cupcake

Hi everyone! Here is my latest Valentine's Card creation! I created this card for two challenges. At Fantabulous Cricut, the challenge this week was to create something with a "sweet" theme. At Peachy Keen Stamps Challenges, the task for the "Let's Face it Friday" challenge was to create something with X's and O's and feature some Peachy Keen face stamps.

Cricut Cartridges - Sweet Treats (cupcake cut at 4") Sweethearts (OXO cut at 1 1/4")

Stamps - Princess Face Assortment (Peachy Keen Stamps)

Cardstock - Stampin' Up! and Bazzill
Patterned Paper - K & Company
Ribbon - Celebrate It
Pens - Inkssentials and Stampin' Up!
Glitter - Elmer's
Funny, as I am typing this post my I Tunes is playing and "XXX's and OOO's" by Trisha Yearwood came on :-)
Hope you like it!

You & Me Valentine's Day Card

Hi everyone! This is a card I created for my hubby. The Cricut cartridges I used are:

Sweethearts - Scalloped Heart (cut at 4 1/2") "You & Me" (cut at 2 1/2") Scalloped Heart Blackout (4 1/2")

Lacy Labels - Scalloped Squares (cut at 5 1/2") welded together on Gypsy to form a card.

I ran the scalloped heart through the xyron and added red glitter.

The heart corner punch used on the patterned paper is by Fiskars.

I created my card for two challenges:

Music Mondays - Erin and Angelica have started some new challenges based on music! Fun! This week their song choice was "You are the Best Thing" by Ray LaMontagne. I decided to create a card for my husband for Valentine's Day, but I might just give it to him before since we are still a month away and I am likely to be creating more cards before then. He's the best thing in my life! I am the luckiest girl in the world! He spoils me rotten and for our children he is best father I could ask for! OK enough of the mushy stuff....LOL

Cricut Cardz Challenge - Use the colours black, red and white.

Hope you like it!

#5 Sweethearts - Be My Valentine Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be My Valentine Blog Hop! I'm so excited to be a part of this hop and can't wait to see what all of these talented ladies have created! You should have arrived here from The Crafty Creation Spot. If not, head over to Creations With Kathryn to start from the beginning. You don't want to miss any of the fabulous projects!

For my project, I have created some Valentines for my son to hand out to his little friends at preschool!

To make these little Valentines I used the Sweethearts cartridge. I used a Valentine's Day themed double-sided paper pack by K & Company called Ka-Zoo and cut the squares at 3 inches. The puppies/kitties are on the front of the card and the sentiment is on the back. I used a border punch by Fiskars for the scalloped trim.

The envelopes were cut at 4 1/2", also from the Sweethearts cartridge. The opening is at the top. I adhered a 5/8" paper strip around the outside and attached a stamped heart image over that. The "friend" heart stamp is from the I (Heart) Hearts stamp set by Stampin' Up!. The inks are Real Red and Rose Romance, also by SU!
My son, who is 3, is so excited to give these to his friends. He doesn't seem to mind that they are not all that masculine - hopefully he won't change his mind when we pass by the Lightning McQueen and Spiderman ones in Walmart :-)
Hope you like them!
Now I have a little bit of blog candy to give away - some 6"X6" paper from the same stack I used for my Valentines (there are 2 each of 16 double-sided designs) Some of it is even glittery :-)
There are also two coordinating sticker packs to go with the paper!

To win this prize, please leave a comment on this post and I would love it if you would follow my blog! Also, please be sure to leave a way for me to contact you if you happen to win!

I'm Back

Hi everyone! I am back and posting a couple more cards that I have finished in the last few days in between working on a mini album which I am so excited about! Not really sure what I will be using it for, but it is definitely fun to make! I have also been making little notebooks to try out my new Zutter Bind-it-All and I love it! I think it is almost time for me to get back to my real love - scrapbooking! Maybe next time I will have a post showing a scrapbook page! Anyway, these two cards are ones I made with my cricut using the Paper Doll Dress-Up and Sweethearts cartridges. Check out my new Martha Stewart punch on the wedding card - love it! Actually it came as a set with a corner punch so you can punch the same pattern all around the page!
