Hi everyone! Happy Leap Year! Today I have a game to show you that I created for my little neice. I called it "Meow Match" and it is made from a bunch of different Cricut cat cuts! Her favorite animal is "kitty" so it is the perfect little gift for her. She is probably too young to actually play it just yet, but I know she will love looking at all the pictures!
I also created this project for the monthly challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog which was to create a gift for someone we love in the month of February. Good thing for that extra day this month, eh? I literally, JUST finished this project :-)
For the base of the card, I used the Best Friends Imagine cartridge and cut that image at 3". I made 28 cards for a total of 14 pairs of different cat images.
The cartridges I used are Best Friends, Disney Classics, Sugar and Spice, Nursery Rhymes, Create a Critter, Four Legged Friends, Doodlecharms, Cricut American Alphabet, Rock Princess and Imagine More.
After glueing each image to the cards, I laminated them with my Yourstory machine to give them more durability.
The box was created from the new Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 cartridge and cut at 6.5". The font for "MATCH" was from the Storybook cartridge and each letter was cut at a slightly differnt size and flood filled with colours from the Best Friends Imagine cartridge to match the images above.
Hope you like my little card game!
What a fantastic gift! I'm sure your niece will get lots of enjoyment from it. Good luck on the challenge.
