The challenge for the month of May on the Cricut Circle Blog was to create a layout about a milestone in somebody's life. We needed to use 2 Cricut image cuts and 2 Cricut font cuts.
The cartridges / cuts I used are:
Carousel - "60" cut at 2"
Birthday Cakes - "Happy Birthday" phrase cut at 2.25", "DAD" cut at 1.15" and welded to the phrase.
Boys will be Boys - Tractor and layers cut at 2.5"
Scalloped border - Ribbons and Rosettes cut at 1"
Background shape (behind title) - Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cut at 3.5" and 3.75"
By the way, this layout is of my father's 60th birthday when I made him a birthday cake using my Cricut Cake machine - such a fun tool! The cake had a barn and tractor on top and different animals around the edge.
The patterned paper I chose for this layout is from the Basic Grey Obscure collection - which I've had for a loooooong time!

ReplyDeletethe first thing that caught my eye was '60'. i love it. now wouldn't you know, that's one cart i 'DONT' have. what a great layout for someone so special in your life. congratulations for making the grade with the 'CIRCLE'.
