The tag was cut from Holiday Frames and Tags and the bag was cut from Plantin' Schoolbook. I embossed the bag with the Holly Ribbons embossing folder before I glued the sides together.

#176 Holiday Frames and Tags - Poinsettia Gift Bag
Hi everyone! Here is another project I created for the cricut circle swarm challenges. Number six was to use a cartridge we had never used before. I have quite a few of these! I decided to go with Holiday Frames and Tags which was a limited edition cartridge released by Creative Memories in 2012.
The tag was cut from Holiday Frames and Tags and the bag was cut from Plantin' Schoolbook. I embossed the bag with the Holly Ribbons embossing folder before I glued the sides together.

#175 Extreme Fonts - Thankful Mini Album
Hi everyone! For the 5th challenge of the cricut circle swarm, we were asked to create a fall or Halloween themed mini album. I decided to go with a Thankgiving mini.
Reindeer Christmas Card
Hi everyone! The 4th challenge for the Circle swarm was to create a holiday themed project using non-traditional colours for that holiday. I chose to create a Christmas card and here it is:
My reindeer were cut from Create a Critter 2. In the background I used the Holly Ribbons Cuttlebug embossing folder.

#174 Create a Critter 2 - Halloween Frame
Hi everyone! Here is a project I created for challenge number three in the Canadian Cricut Circle Swarm. The challenge was to create a home décor piece using Cricut cut flowers and chipboard.
The cartridges I used are Art Philosophy for the flowers, Trick or Treat for the Scary title, and Create a Critter 2 for the bat. The scary title was cut from chipboard first, then covered in paper using the same cut.

#173 Autumn Celebrations - Canadian Circle Swarm Challenge 1 and 2
Hi everyone! Once again it is time for the Canadian Cricut circle swarm challenges. This is the third year we've had them and they are as fun as ever! So far I have completed 2 of the challenges posted.
Challenge #1 was to find inspiration and make a creation based on that inspiration.
This was my inspiration:
For this card I used Cricut Alphabet for the cat, Autumn Celebrations for the pumpkins, Cricut Essentials for the branches, and Art Philosophy for the shaped card.
Challenge #2 was to create a Fall-themed banner! I had lots of fun with this one and dug out an oldie cartridge for it! The squirrels were cut out with Stretch Your Imagination. The banner flags and letters are from Birthday Bash.

12 Tags of 2013 - January
Hi everyone! Happy New Year!
What better way to start of my posts for the New Year than with my verson of Tim Holtz's January tag for 2013! You can see my inspiration HERE . As always, I really enjoyed making this months tag.
Here is my version:
I followed all of the techniques pretty closely, changing up the colours a little but, and using what I had in place of the product I didn't have. The embossing folder used for the background was a 5X7 Cuttlebug folder. The gears were cut from Grungepaper using my Cricut with the Paper Lace 2 cartridge. I don't own the stamps Tim used, so I used some other TH stamps from my stash. I also used some random embellishments in the place of the gears he used on his tag.
Hope you like my tag and that you might be inspired to try your own!
