Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be My Valentine Blog Hop! I'm so excited to be a part of this hop and can't wait to see what all of these talented ladies have created! You should have arrived here from The Crafty Creation Spot. If not, head over to Creations With Kathryn to start from the beginning. You don't want to miss any of the fabulous projects!
For my project, I have created some Valentines for my son to hand out to his little friends at preschool!
To win this prize, please leave a comment on this post and I would love it if you would follow my blog! Also, please be sure to leave a way for me to contact you if you happen to win!
To make these little Valentines I used the Sweethearts cartridge. I used a Valentine's Day themed double-sided paper pack by K & Company called Ka-Zoo and cut the squares at 3 inches. The puppies/kitties are on the front of the card and the sentiment is on the back. I used a border punch by Fiskars for the scalloped trim.
The envelopes were cut at 4 1/2", also from the Sweethearts cartridge. The opening is at the top. I adhered a 5/8" paper strip around the outside and attached a stamped heart image over that. The "friend" heart stamp is from the I (Heart) Hearts stamp set by Stampin' Up!. The inks are Real Red and Rose Romance, also by SU!
My son, who is 3, is so excited to give these to his friends. He doesn't seem to mind that they are not all that masculine - hopefully he won't change his mind when we pass by the Lightning McQueen and Spiderman ones in Walmart :-)

Hope you like them!
Now I have a little bit of blog candy to give away - some 6"X6" paper from the same stack I used for my Valentines (there are 2 each of 16 double-sided designs) Some of it is even glittery :-)
There are also two coordinating sticker packs to go with the paper!
To win this prize, please leave a comment on this post and I would love it if you would follow my blog! Also, please be sure to leave a way for me to contact you if you happen to win!
Now it's time to go visit the talented Lisa at Cricuting With Lisa and check out what she's created!
