#157 Ribbons and Rosettes - Wise Guy Layout

Hi everyone!   I created a layout for a National Scrapbooking Day challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog.  The challenge was a "recipe" challenge where we had to create a project using:
At least 3 Cricut image cuts
3 patterned papers
A butterfly, bird or bug
Machine, pen or hand-stitching
The colour yellow

Here is my entry:
The cartridges / cuts I used are:
Boys will be Boys - "Wise Guy" (cut at 2.5")
Hoot N Holler - Owl on branch (cut at 4"), Branch (cut at 2.5")
Ribbons and Rosettes - Notebook border (cut at 1")
Paper Trimmings - Sun (cut at 3.75")

The patterned paper is by Crate Paper.
I added some pen stitching zig zags along the orange cardstock.

Hope you like it!

#48 Hoot N Holler - Hoot-errific!

Hi everyone! Here is a card I created for a challenge Robyn was having this week at My Pink Stamper! She asked us to create any project featuring a feathered friend! I chose to use the Hoot N Holler cartridge for my project - there are a ton of great choices on that cartridge to go with this theme!

My owl was cut at 2 3/4". I made a bow from 1/8" black satin ribbon for her heard.

The scalloped square is from Mini Monograms, sized to 3 3/4" X 3 3/4" real dial size on my Gypsy.

All papers were taken from my scraps stash.

"Hoot-errific" is from Tweetie-Hoo Puns by My Pink Stamper.
Hope you like it!

Think Pink! Weekly Circle Challenge

This week, in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Cricut Circle Blog wanted us to create an ultra-girly project. We had to use three of the following elements: Pink, ruffles, scallops, flourishes, glitter and jewels. Also, we needed to use at least 2 Cricut cuts.

The cartridges used in my layout are Hoot 'n' Holler (owl and title), Picturesque (corner flourishes) Sentimentals (scalloped circle) and Slumber Party (scalloped square page frame).
Hope you like it! Don't forget I have a giveaway going on - click here to enter!
