#118 Cricut American Alphabet - Parker Baby

Hi everyone! For the third challenge for our Canadian Cricut Circle Online Swarm, this was our task:

Create a Silly pet or animal scrapbook layout a favorite stuffed toy is okay too
Try to use at least one thing from all 3 criteria:
1. Use texture: fuzz, fibre, ribbon, string, thick paint, emboss/deboss…
2. lumps/bumps: lace, buttons, folding, popdots, pop-ups…
3. Use at least one cricut cut, your choice of image

Here is my take on the challenge:

For my layout, I used the following cartridges / cuts:

Cricut American Alphabet - title (1.25"), puppy (2.5")

Paper Pups - dog house (4.5")

Everyday Paper Dolls - bone (1.75")

The cuttlebug folder used on the circular picture frame is a 5X7 from the Paper Lace II companion set.

I used pop - dots for the puppy and for the circle photo of the puppy.

I found some satin heart ribbon in my stash that I think goes great with the paper.

All patterned paper is by Bo Bunny.

Hope you like it!

Yappy Easter!

Hi everyone! Here is a card I created for the last Wacky Wednesday challenge at More than Favors. The challenge was to create something funny. I decided on this "Yappy Easter" card made with the Cricut Paper Pups cartridge.

The pup was cut at 3" and "Yappy Easter" was cut at 2.5". The outline portion of the puppy was run through my Xyron then covered with flocking.

Hope you like it!

Puppy Get Better Card

I made this card for the Cricut Cardz challenge #21. The cartridges I used are Paper Pups, George and Basic Shapes, and Wild Card. I also used my Design Studio software. First I put two doghouses from the PP cartridge on the DS mat then welded them together to form the card shape, then layered a rectangle over each house piece so it wouldn't cut out the door. I cut out the puppy with the same cartridge, the "Get Better" from Wild Card and the ovals from George. I cut the roof with scissors and placed on the card.

My first post!

I have been trying to organize my scrapbooking area for the last couple of weeks - it is really coming along and I am so excited to have a place for everything. I will try to get it finished so I can post a photo. So far today I have made a birthday card for Kelly's sister using the cricut of course! It was my first time using the Paper Pups cartridge - love it!
