#127 Sweet Tooth Boxes - Halloween Treats

Hi everyone! Here is a project I created for a few challenges this week. I used the Sweet Tooth Boxes and Mini Monsters cartridges to create this cute treat box for someone who I will not name because then she wouldn't be surprised ( I am actually going to make three of them).

I had such a fun time creating this box! It was my first time putting together anything from the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge, and it is really quite easy thanks to the detailed, illustrated directions included with the cartridge. Soooo thankful for that!

My box was cut at 7.25". I covered parts of it with patterned paper.

The monsters were cut at 2 and 2.25" to fit on the end portions of the box.

#14 Mini Monsters - Imagine Layout

Hi everyone! Here is my first Imagine layout! This was so fun to create and pretty simple, but since it was my first, it took me forever! I am happy to be learning how to work my new machine though! I used the Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge combined with the JT Imagine cartridge to create the design.

I created this layout for two challenges this week:

Flaunt it Fridays - create a non-Halloween themed project using the Skull and Crossbones cut from Mini Monsters.

Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge - use the Mini Monsters cartridge on a project.

The images from the Mini Monsters cartridge are:

Skull and Cross bones (including background) - cut at 5"

Danger Title - cut at 3"

All patterned paper is printed from JT Imagine cartridge.

Flame border cut at 4"

Photo matcut at 5"

Halloween Treat Bags

Hi everyone! I finally got all the treat bags finished for my kids' Halloween parties tomorrow! Last minute, as usual! I used the Mini Monsters cartridge for the monsters and the Songbird cartridge for the part that folds over the bag. I am entering this project in the Circle challenge this week - also last minute :-) The task was to create a Halloween project using at least two Cricut cuts and something transparent.

Boo-tiful Card

Hi everyone! Here is a card I created for the Peachy Keen stamps challenge. The theme was October. I used the Peachy Keen stamp set "Nikkity Knack Cat Gang". The haunted house was cut from Mini Monsters

***Edited to add: this project is not eligible for the contest since one of the stipulations was that it couldn't be a card. Whooops! :-) Hope you like it anyway and am in love with this adorable stamp set! I had a ton of fun making it!

My Pink Stamper Halloween Challenge

Hi everyone! This evening I made this quick card to enter in Robyn's challenge at My Pink Stamper. The task was to create a fall or Halloween themed project. I used the Mini Monsters cartridge to create this oh-so-cute pumpkin! The patterned paper I used is from "Spook-tacular" by K & Company. Omigosh, this paper line is just so adorable! Hope you like it!

Dracula Treat Bag

Hi everyone! I love Peachy Keen Stamps and am so excited that they have added another challenge to their blog! In addition to their Tuesday challenge, they have added a "Let's Face it Friday" challenge where you are required to make use of your Peachy Keen face stamps. For the first challenge, the task was to create a Halloween treat container. I chose this Dracula card feature cut from the Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge. The face was stamped with Make a Monster Face Assortment stamp set by Peachy Keen. The box was created from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

A Spider-Shaped Card

Hi everyone! Tonight I have a cute spider card for you! I created this card using the Mini Monsters cartridge, which I have been using quite a bit lately! It was made using the card function on the cartridge. The challenge at Cricut Cardz this week was to create a Halloween card using the card function. This is my entry! I glammed my spider up a bit using some purple, black and orange stickles as well as a white pen on her legs. Hope you like it!

Pumpkins Halloween Card

Hi everyone! Well, here I am with yet another Halloween card for you and I have a feeling it won't be my last this year! I created this one for the challenge over at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog My task was to create a project using the following sketch and colour scheme:

For this card I cut the pumpkins with my Cricut using the Mini Monsters cartridge. The face stamp is by Peachy Keen from the Make a Monster Face Assortment set. I ran the card through my xyron then added the center portion followed by the blue glitter. I am so addicted to this technique - my craft room is a glittery mess! The Happy Halloween is from an Inkadinkadoo stamp set which I embossed with Neon Amber Zing powder. Hope you like it!
